Larry Cook - Finding Notes on the Fretboard

As a bassist you find yourself playing roots and fifths a lot, but that kind of playing only gives you a limited area of the fretboard that you are utilizing. Certainly you may want to play different pitches from time to time, or heck just different octaves of your roots and fifths. In this lesson, Larry walks you through how to find any note on the fretboard using common shapes you probably already use.

Evan Brewer - Double Thumb Recap

Evan shows a really cool technique where you end up using your thumb almost like a pick. It's a great "hybrid" technique that falls between finger style, flat pick and slap, and it's easy to switch in and out of. Super efficient and effective!
