    Default Video player performance

    Hello,

I'm having terrible player performance when jumping forward (i.e. from beginning of the video to minute 10). I just measured 3min 20sec! That's unusable.
Video players used on other sites don't have this issue. It's only with the jamplay player.

    Best Regards

    Edit:
And when pausing the playback for some minutes it also needs very long to continue.

    Hello,

Sorry to hear of these issues! Can you please try two things and report back the results?

First, try lowering the quality setting in the video player. Click the "HD" button in the bottom right hand corner of the video player, and select he "low" setting and see if this cures your issue. If so, repeat this by changing the quality setting upwards until the issue comes again.

And if that doesn't work, can you try using an alternative web browser? We recommend Chrome and Firefox, but using anything alternative will help us see if there is an issue with a browser setting before we proceed.

    Thanks!

    Hello,

I'm using Chrome and also tested with Microsoft Edge. Same result.
Lowering quality helps (but it also lasts too long. I expect instant actions). Lowering quality shouldn'd be required because my internet connection is fast enough. I can see 2 football matches in HD simultaneous without issues. And like I said, other players are able to jump to new positions instantly.

The issue seems also to depend on the video length. Currently looking the following video:

English is not my native language and I have sometimes difficulties to understand Jim, so I have to repeat some seconds. But it's a pain because of the extreme delay of several minutes.

    Hello,

just tested it connecting to annother server using my VPN. Under this conditions I'm able to get it running fast enough.
