Default Advice on Rock Beginners Course

    Hi All

I'm looking for direction on which beginners course to start with.

I'm interested in Rock Guitar and can play open chords etc, but thats about it.

    Any advice?

This course with Will Ripley was straight up meant for you. You can then branch out into his phase 2 courses on Rock as well once you are done.

    Rock on dude!

+1 from me for Will's course. I started it recently and I've been having a blast with it.

    Shaun,

I completed Will R. - Phase 1 this past April. I thought it was a good set of lessons with some variety. I'm still working on a few of the lessons that have a Badge associated with them (e.g., Lesson 11, 15, 17, 19, etc.). For me, getting the badge (taking the test) helps to ensure that I've learned the materiel.

I'm planning to start Phase 2 next month.

That's the way I see the badges too. I am wondering, if you don't pass, do they tell you what you need to work on?

Also as a note, we will likely be having Ripley back this summer-fall to do a Phase 2 blues series
