    Default Double bass?

Are there any lessons or content from the upright double bass discipline in the bass section?

No there are not. However, anything you learn on an electric or acoustic bass can be transitioned over to the upright bass. You don't have frets but tuning and overall playing mechanics are similar between the two instruments.

We have discussed upright bass, but given the issues we would have in filming it correctly, the amount of people playing it the fact that we are primarily a guitar styled course, it's not something that we will likely cover. Things could change in the future if there is enough demand, but currently we will be covering the electric and acoustic bass only.

Pros: you can put them in a 2 X 4 and sound like zakk wylde
Cons: you can put them in a 2 X 4 and sound like zakk wylde

Excellent point. Fretless content would be good too.

Several of Freebo's lesson sets are done with his fretless bass. I'd recommend checking them out!
