Highly unlikely. With inventions like Chromecast, Firestickm, phone-to-tv streaming and most smart TVs being able to use the site, we can't really justify spending the time and money developing a Roku app. The Android and iOS apps need redone from the ground up and that is our #1 priority.

I use the silk browser and type in jamplay.com then use the annoying on screen keyboard with my remote to log on.

I normally don't get into necro threads, but this has been my one biggest beef with jamplay since I subbed three or four years ago. In the age where computers are getting less and less use as mobile devices, and televisions are dominating the market I am still without the option of going from device to device. I was miffed at this years ago when I joined. Now as time has passed it has become a meme. I have the android app, but it is pretty well useless. I have no intentions on getting an apple product so I don't know if the ios app is any better. But to me in 2019 it should be a given that a decent cross platform option would be offered beyond "use the devices clunky browser". I can't even see the archived live courses on the android app and they are hosted on YouTube :/ .

We've already been seeing the push to HDTV format sites and apps. I haven't tried Jamplay on my FireTV browser, but it shouldn't be too hard for someone to wrap all their HTML into it's own FireTV/Roku/Google app or something.

It would be a big bullet point for subscribers, I'd imagine.

Glad to hear you seem to be looking to address the Android app. I have a Roku and use it for pretty much all TV. Would be great to have an actual Roku app/channel or whatever you call it. On the advice seen in this forum, I bought a Chromcast, thinking this might be a solution. Not really. I downloaded the Android JamPlay app (which is not real great...like the log-in screen is microscopic, etc.) and it just project that onto my tv...all the frames, etc. are still there. Getting a bigger video of an actual lesson with the music I can actually read on TV was kind of the goal. Now I have a Chromecast that will likely never do anything at all. Using a computer for lessons is OK, but using a TV would seem a lot more personal with a nice big video picture and probably in a place in the house not secluded like where a computer might be. If the Android app were better, then the Chromecast might be some kind of solution. However, right now it just projects the same jumbled junk that's on the phone screen.
