I have really enjoyed becoming a member and learning the songs in phase 3. You do a wonderful job at breaking down all the parts of the songs. Being a new member, I was wondering how often new songs are put on and do you think that you could do some Alice and Chains?

I don't think there is an actual timetable for song lessons. They do them as and when they can fit it into their already busy schedule. But they do do their best.:)

AIC is definitely in my top five fav bands of all time. I just haven't got around to them yet. My priority right now for song lessons is to teach modern stuff that has come out in the last year or so. This will probably include material from the latest Tool, Qotsa, Radiohead, and Silversun Pickups albums. Then, I'll return to some of the older stuff...like Chains, Soundgarden, Pink Floyd, The Beatles, Stevie Ray Vaughn....you know, the classics.

I think "The Pot" and "Vicarious" are on deck for the next phase 3 filming session.

perhaps "Stone the Crow"...everybody seems to like that one.

That song kicks ass! Yeah for sure, All of Down's albums are great so any song by them would be sweet.

Thank you everyone for all of your suggestions. Here's the songs that Kevin and I filmed yesterday. You should see these lessons posted within the next 30 days or so. It was an Alice In Chains extravaganza: Brother, Heaven Beside You, Them Bones, and Patience by GNR. I taught all of these songs with an acoustic.

The next time I film Phase 3 material, I'll try to knock out some more of your requests. Thanks a lot for watching! Keep rocking!

Personally, I don't think threats are gonna work. Even if they are followed by a couple of tongue-in-cheek or fake winks.
